Earlier, MPBL commissioner Kenneth Duremdes revealed that they already sent a letter to the IATF for permission to resume their suspended playoff games.

Duremdes said with just six games remaining in their playoff games, they intend to finish the 2019-2020 MPBL season this year.

The Mindanao Commissioner who hails from Marbel, South Cotabato said the MPBL, a semi-professional regional basketball league is willing to adhere to the strict health protocols to be imposed by IATF so that they can finish the MPBL playoffs and have a champion for 2020.
