Based on the data released by The Richest, Pacquiao has a net worth of about $220 million or around P10.6 billion.
The Richest is a media organization that covers business, expensive lifestyle, sports, national wealth & luxury from a monetary angle.
Pacquiao’s wealth is not surprising since he is an eight-division world boxing champion who has been boxing professionally since 1995.
Aside from the mega-million fight purse, Pacquiao also gets much of his money from his endorsements plus the businesses he has invested along the way.
Pacquiao is the owner of Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League (MPBL) and is also a shareholder of the booming mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion company ONE Championship, formerly known as ONE Fighting Championship or ONE FC.
On the same data released by The Richest, Pacquiao’s top boxing rival retired American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather Jr. is the richest boxer in the world today with a net worth of $450 million.
The second spot in the list went to retired legendary boxer George Foreman with $300 million net worth.
Pacquiao was recently named as the 21st Century Greatest Boxer of all times by the sports media outlet Give Me Sport.
Pacquiao beat rival American boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather for the one-of-a-kind distinction.
Give Me Sports official Sam Righton said they decided to pick Pacquiao as the greatest boxer this century because of his remarkable boxing record and charisma.
The eight-division champion boxer continues to make waves despite in his 40s by winning the World Boxing Association welterweight crown in 2019.
