Two alleged drug pushers nabbed in Maa buy bust operation

DAVAO CITY – Police arrested a businesswoman and her male companion for allegedly selling and in possession of P40,000 worth of illegal drugs shabu during a buy bust operation in Maa this city on Monday, (April 5) at 1:30 in the afternoon.

Toril police chief Major Michael Uyanguren identified the suspects as Juneilyn Marahim Omar, 29, single, businesswoman, a resident of Barangay 22-C, and Dominic Dematais Licayan, 32, single, jobless, and a resident of Matina.

Police said, both conspired in selling a sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer during the operation.

After the suspects’ arrest, operatives  seized a red wallet containing two sachets of shabu, and Samsung Keypad Cellular Phone from Omar. 

They also confiscated Mitsubishi L-300 Van color white and its ignition key. 

Police  said the confiscated two sachets of shabu weighed about 2.5 grams and the suspects could earn about P40,000 in sales.  

Omar and Licayan are currently detained at the Toril Police Station until the regular filing of criminal case in court.
