Siblings arrested in Malvar Street drug bust

DAVAO CITY – Two siblings were apprehended  by operatives of San Pedro Police for allegedly selling shabu in a buy bust operation conducted in Malvar Street, this city almost midnight, Monday.

Major Jack Tilcag, the commander of San Pedro police identified the suspects as Alex, Salvaleon, 44 and his brother Ruel, 32.

Tilcag, said the Salvaleons conspired in selling a sachet of shabu to a police poseur buyer in exchange of P1,000 money in an operation conducted at Purok 4, 476 Alley Malvar, Barangay 7-A past 11pm.

Police seized  from the suspects two sachets of suspected shabu worth P25,000 placed inside a cigarette pack, P1, 000 money and blue Vivo Android phone allegedly used in their illegal drug transaction.

The Salvaleons are now detained at the San Pedro Police Station pending the filing of criminal charges.
