DAVAO CITY – Mayor Sara Duterte said in a statement Wednesday (April 7) that she is on leave from April 6 until April 10 as she is in Singapore for ‘personal health management.’
She added that she has secured a travel authority to Singapore from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG).
“The reason is personal health management,” Duterte said.
Duterte also assured that all protocols for her return to this city including RT-PCR [reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction] testing and 14-day quarantine have all been pre-arranged.
In September last year, she also took a seven-day medical leave from September 28 until October 5.
“She will be out of town for medical purposes. She is continuously present online to meet deadlines in her office,” the City Government of Davao said on Facebook.
