DAVAO CITY – The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) officer in charge Eric B. Distor has vowed that the Davao regional facility is part of the NBI’s modernization goals in making sure that the stakeholders of the agency are well served and remain its topmost priority.
During his visit here last week Distor said, the modernized facility will become part of its arsenal in protecting the public from outlaws as well as use it to serve best the people who need its services.
He also greeted the stakeholders that were present as he asked if they were properly served and if they needed further assistance in their goal in coming to the office.
Distor also thanked the employees of the regional office as well as the district offices in Tagum City and Island Garden City of Samal, both in Davao del Norte who have returned to work to serve the public best.
Distor said he also inspected the different departments making sure that everything was in place and in top form.
The NBI chief also distributed additional computers, laptops and other office equipment to both the regional office and the district offices so they could enhance their capacities in line with the ease of doing business, which is a priority of the administration of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Distor also thanked Assistant Regional Director Jonathan V. Balite, Tagum District Office agent in-charge HA Vicente Essex E. Minguez and NBI Samal Satellite officer in charge Ligaya S. Banawan for successfully steering their respective offices in the right direction to ensure that the public is served best.
In response, Balite, who spoke on behalf of the regional office and the district offices, thanked Distor for going out of his busy schedule to visit all the dedicated men and women in this office as all the three officials were there to welcome him for his visit.
